Setting up Mono for .NET Development on Linux

Earth includes the Mono runtime and .NET Framework reference assemblies it uses, so no separate host Mono installation is required when using the Earth Flatpak.

A separate Mono installation is only relevant when using an Elements command-line installation that does not include Mono, or when another tool in your workflow explicitly requires the host Mono runtime.
